About this experience

Saturday, August 29 · 3:00–5:30 PM

Treehouse Rooftop at Hotel Nell, Union Market, Washington, DC

A Bloom Breather is floraTONIC’s signature wellbeing experience — an afternoon of slowing down, savoring delight, and building a sustainable practice around what restores you. Hosted at Hotel Nell’s Treehouse Rooftop, in Union Market.

Two and a half hours of intentional rest, sensory immersion, and floral design — guided by Odinakachi Anyanwu, Founder & Chief Cultivator of floraTONIC, with a thoughtfully curated sonic experience in the room.

You’ll arrive to a welcome cocktail, settle into a curated space, and be introduced to the TONIC practice before being guided through a hands-on floral composition using a tropical palette. No design experience needed.

You’ll leave with a floral arrangement you composed yourself, a clearer sense of what restoration actually feels like in practice, and commitment to a restorative practice you can carry beyond the room.

  • Welcome cocktail on arrival
  • Tea snacks throughout
  • Bar open for additional purchases
  • Guided facilitation and wellbeing dialogue

Odinakachi Anyanwu is the Founder and Chief Cultivator of floraTONIC & the TONIC practice — a methodology built around slowing down, savoring delight, and discovering your own personal restorative practice.

He found his way to floral arranging through his own encounter with burnout during a 14-year career at Google and Deloitte — and built a framework for people who needed a language and structure for building a rhythm of practicing rest.

floraTONIC’s experiences are now trusted by Google, Capital One, Deloitte, and Kirkland & Ellis LLP, with a residency at Hotel Nell in Washington, DC and an expanding presence in Philadelphia.
